Dining in Chicago

My vacation dining choices are based on a rugged tripod of criteria:
- locals eat there
- I can afford it
- it doesn't offend JulieDill's nose
(My nose is not always trustworthy, but JD can smell bad food a block away.)

I can recommend Harold's Chicken Shack on Wabash behind the Hilton. You know, if you eat chicken. Or even fries with hot sauce...

Mmmmmm. Okay, adding that to my list of places to eat when I go back to Chicago for ALA in July!

Ah, July. Those lake breezes will fill a lot better then. The coleslaw was good, too.

The lake breezes will be lovely, but I won't be able to wear my midlife-crisis motorcycle jacket. Which is probably for the best... it might scandalize the librarians. ;)
