Julie & I ran away for the weekend for the first DillMarschik Artists' Retreat. We were not productive at all, but we did come back extremely relaxed and happy to have taken the time to disappear for a couple of days.
We went to a B&B cabin in Marthasville called Critter Cottage. It's a comfortable, cozy sort of place and I'm sure we'll be back.

Cherub - I don't know what it is about B&Bs and cherubs. The place we visited in Hermann had them painted on the ceiling over the bed. This guy just hovered discretely over the very comfy tub.

Great!
Yes, we're looking forward to Macklind Days. The folks down at Salon Soha gave us the heads-up, too. See you there.
Did you have to pee in the chamber pot?
Nah, I slept with a flashlight under my pillow so I could stumble down to the modern addition.
