Left Bank Books in Seattle
Left Bank Books in St. Louis (No relation.)
Again, I don't have pictures of the outside of the shop, but I do have pics of Kris Kleindienst thanking D.A. Powell for his poetry reading at the new downtown store...
and Alison Bechdel reading at the Central West End store...
and staff members posing as famous LGBT writers, marching in last summer's Pride Parade...
I also credit Left Bank with being the root cause of my last 6 years of domestic happiness, but, really, it wouldn't have been the same without the bar, the eclipse, and the really annoyingly bad music.

Homophones in Seattle
Sisters' in Seattle
Sisters' in Confluence, PA
I don't actually have a pic of the front of the Cafe, but you can see it (and the other dining options in Confluence) on the city's website.
Folks familiar with the Allegheny Passage bike trail have probably wandered through Confluence at some point. I think it's about 14 miles down the trail from Ohiopyle.
If you needs to find my dad for something on a Saturday morning, go to Sisters' (in Confluence). He's probably sitting at the big round table near the counter with his friends.

Museum of Flight, Seattle
Rough draft of a panorama I'm stitching together from the Great Gallery...
I'll post a few digital pics, but I used my film camera a lot on this trip. I'll have to finish scrubbing out my darkroom sink this week and develop some film. Yeah, I know, I keep saying that.
I like using my film camera in the fall. Why? Wish I knew. It's heavy, mostly manual, and absolutely familiar. And it stands up well to wet weather. Maybe that's the key.

Indie Underground @ Lumiere Place
St. Louis Fashion Week
aka Let's All Wear Boots
I enjoyed seeing familiar faces from Katatomic Labs and TwIsTeD. I enjoyed the people watching. The event offered me loud music and free drinks on a Friday night, so really, I can't think of much to complain about.
I didn't really know what to expect going into this event. Three days later and I'm still not sure. That's probably just my cold talking...
Don't worry, I'm medicated.
