This summer's last installment of Hungry Young Poets gathered at Duff's last Monday. It was another packed house. Julie will be the curator again next year, so if you know a talented youngish, bookless poet with some connection to St. Louis, point them her way.

Andrea Askowitz has taken her memoir "My Miserable Lonely Lesbian Pregnancy" on a national "Misery Loves Company" tour. Everywhere she goes, she invites local writers to read with her. Last night our very own Julie Dill opened, with local playwright Kyle Kratky rounding out the ticket.
