This is were JulieDill's pickle shirt and rhinestone cateyes make me smile.

I have a HYP slideshow, but the words were the interesting part.

Walking thru the Central West End
Lat week, on the evenings Julie went to the gym, I decided to walk somewhere fun and have her pick me up there when she was done. Wednesday, I walked from my job in Midtown to Left Bank Books in the CWE.

Hungry Young Poets at Duff's
This summer's last installment of Hungry Young Poets gathered at Duff's last Monday. It was another packed house. Julie will be the curator again next year, so if you know a talented youngish, bookless poet with some connection to St. Louis, point them her way.
Don't point them my way. I'm illiterate.

This is Erin. I liked listening to Erin.

Walking in the Central West End
I think this pup gets to do this a lot. He was off his leash a block away. We watched him race directly to the fountain - no distractions for him. He knew the water was coming back.
Now, I know I don't do a lot of wildlife shots, but I want to assure everyone that I was perfectly safe while I was taking this. The hippo was far too engrossed in the mountain goats to think about charging me.
