We did go back to the antique shop in SoHa for Julie's faux pearls. She'll wear the whole shebang tonight.

Shopping in SoHa

SoHa= St. Louis' South Hampton neighborhood. It's where we live.

Julie's going to a swanky dinner next weekend, so we went out yesterday and bought her a little black dress. On the way, we stopped by this little antique shop that just opened in the neighborhood to peek at their costume jewelry. Now that she has the dress, we're going back today to find something that will match.

Our favorite design consultants came to visit last night, so we hit the Lowe's to look at paint chips and sundries.

Stuff you won't find at you local megamart.

Supermarkets silliness

It's just my personal preference, mind you, but I don't think cakes should look like frightening technicolor cheeseburgerish things.


I would love to put Bailey's on my waffles.
